| About Us | William Parker School gained Specialist Sports College (SSC) status in 1998 taking advantage the new Labour Governments Education Policy. The funding provided, through the programme, for outreach work with the local schools and sporting community, this enabled the College to develop initiatives focussed on local need. Primary Schools benefitted from a resources/ equipment library to address shortages and enable them to maximise the impact on learning, first fostered through the TOP Sport training programme, which matched local need.
